Sunset Waves Surf is a local surf school and equipment rental shop based in Imi Ouaddar, close to Taghazout on Morocco’s Atlantic coast. We provide surf lessons, surf guiding, and surfboard and wetsuit rentals for visitors who want to enjoy the waves safely and confidently.
Whether you are catching your first wave, improving your technique, exploring new surf spots, or renting equipment for your own sessions, we help you choose the right experience for your level and the daily ocean conditions.
Sunset Waves Surf is led by Mohamed Bahnini, a local surfer and qualified surf instructor with more than seven years of experience. Mohamed understands the surf spots, tides, waves, and changing weather conditions along the coast near Taghazout and Imi Ouaddar.
During lessons and guided sessions, Mohamed focuses on safety, clear instruction, practical advice, and individual support. When additional instructors are needed, we work with experienced surfers who have supported surf activities for hotels and other local surf businesses.
Our surf lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate surfers, and advanced surfers who want professional support. Each lesson includes a warm-up, ocean-safety guidance, an explanation of the surfboard and equipment, and practical coaching in the water.
Surfboards and wetsuits are included. We choose the most suitable nearby surf spot according to your level, the waves, the weather, and the ocean conditions.
Our surf guiding service is designed for surfers who already have some experience, can swim, and can paddle out. Mohamed discusses your ability and preferences with you before recommending suitable surf spots between Agadir and Imsouane.
You may request a particular spot, but we can recommend or change the location when the conditions are not appropriate. Our goal is to help you find enjoyable waves that match your experience and surfboard preference.
We offer surfboard and wetsuit rental from our shop in Imi Ouaddar. Different types of surfboards and wetsuit sizes are available for men, women, and children. There is no minimum surfing level or age for renting, although every customer is responsible for choosing conditions suitable for their ability.
Customers renting for four days or more can request free delivery in Imi Ouaddar. Equipment can also be exchanged during the rental period when another available size or board is more suitable.
Surf conditions can change every day. Instead of taking every customer to the same beach, we check the waves, wind, weather, tides, and experience level before selecting a location.
Our surf activities normally take place around Imi Ouaddar and the coastline near Taghazout. Surf-guiding trips can explore surf spots between Agadir and Imsouane, depending on the selected service and the conditions.
We keep the experience personal and adapt it to the customer instead of offering the same session to everyone. We consider your level, confidence, goals, preferred surfboard, and the conditions before making a recommendation.
If the selected surf spot is unsuitable, we check alternative locations before changing the time or date. Your safety and the quality of your experience always guide our decisions.
